"The Guam Korean Chamber founders are all young individuals that are mostly second generation or 1.5 generation that realizes there's a need for us to get together and have a vehicle for us to be able to express ideas."

"It was a very festive time with great food, great people, and live music."

GKCC's Mission Statement

Guam Korean Chamber of Commerce's (GKCC) mission is to enhance the Korean business community and social standings through strong networking and community support services.

It was a very festive time with great food, great people, and live music. You had basically everyone there.. from senators to doctors, working class people, company executives, to even... tourists! [laughter]

The founders saw a need to join forces to accomplish bigger things. As Helen Keller once famously said, "Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much." The best way to describe the current condition of the Korean community in Guam would be -- scattered. There's not much teamwork, not much cooperations between businesses, or any solid support system.

This is the issue the GKCC aims to solve by bringing the Korean people together and by providing a strong support system to achieve bigger results.
